We recently left our 2 german shepherds with Phillipa and Jon and would highly recommend Nelson Bay Boarding kennels. Our dogs were very well looked after, they had pics posted of the girls on Facebook and they gave us lots of feedback about our girls when we picked them up. 5 stars! We will definitely bring them back when we are in the area.

Kirra stayed for two months at Nelson Bay Kennels while I was on an overseas holiday. Like a couple of times before I could leave with peace of mind because I knew she was in good hands not missing out on anything.
When I picked her up, she was in better shape than 2 months ago when I had brought her in. Kirra is 14, almost deaf and a little afraid of other dogs. But thanks to the loving care of she received she looked happy, healthy and confident with her “new friends” there. She even was freshly bathed when I got her back.

We just wanted to say thank you for looking after Paddy while we were away last week.

And thank you also for allowing us to pick him up later than expected, due to our flight being changed. It was very much appreciated.

We will definitely be sending Paddy to Nelson Bay Kennels, next time we go away.

My two dogs stayed at your facility recently. I was a little worried about how Rocky would go with his back legs paralysys condition. When I picked him up he was happy and I was so happy about how you took special care of him because he has special needs. Thank you so much and we will be back next time we take a break. Thank you.

We took our little Rocky here back in August and she must have loved it because when we picked her up, she wouldn’t come with us! 😂 The owners are lovely and clearly care a lot about all of the dogs in their care. I recommend this to all my friends heading to Nelson Bay.

Phillippa and Jon welcomed our 7 month old Ridgeback, Zara into their doggy world and provided her with occasional days of day care during our recent stay in the Port Stephens area. Zara loved her days with them and we will be forever grateful to Phillippa and Jon for looking after our baby and for providing such a wonderful and caring service! We’ll be back!!!

Whenever I even think about planning a holiday, my baby Maddison knows she gets one too at Nelson Bay Kennels! Always extremely well looked after, this is one of the only places that will let me see where my girl is going and set up her little temporary home with her toys and blankets. Wouldnt think of taking Maddie anywhere else.

I was anxious about leaving our spoilt Kota in an unfamiliar place but you were so kind and cared for him so well that both he and I completely relaxed and settled.  Thank you for your accommodating his special food, and for all your flexibility in my comings and goings.  Most of all, for your warm and expert care.
